The Position
The Service Owner are end-to-end accountable for the delivery of services and platforms in their cluster towards the Business Groups and Service Units.
He/she ensures that all relevant components of a service contribute to a stable, reliable and performing total service that matches the demand, drives continuous improvement, and makes sure that customer satisfaction is always at the highest possible level.
He/she also ensures reliable (first-time-right) transition of future developments delivered by other departments and Suppliers.
The Service Owner is the Single Point of Contact for his/her cluster of services and platforms and liaises with Business Groups and Digital Partners to identify new demand and requirements for the services delivered according to desired Business Outcome, and act as a Chapter Lead.
The key responsibilities in this position:

• Accountable for the overall Business Outcomes, performance and management of the services of his/her domain. Is the owner of the services delivered and manages the P&L;
• Ensures that all relevant components of a service contribute to a stable, reliable and performing total service towards the business that matches the demand;
• Creates the budget for the services in close alignment with the Director GbS TS and manages costs within the agreed budget;
• You contribute to the vision in your area in a positive manner and introduce and nurture innovation within it as a chapter leader
• ensure the Chapter members have appropriate competencies and skills by continuous improvement of their skills
• the way of working in your Chapter and implement the use of standards together with your Chapter members
• plan / coach / assess and professionalize your Chapter members
• Responsible for making agreements with customers on Service Level Agreements and to determine the service fees for charging towards the business;
• Responsible for the alignment with customers about future demand and new developments;
• Responsible for complaint handling for his/her services;
• Responsible for continuous improvement of the delivered services; and roadmap development
• Supports the Director GbS TS in the design of the strategy, organization set up, processes and global collaboration;
• Communicates with internal business departments, project directors and project owners for relevant activities;
• Escalation point for critical incidents and responsible to take decisions in order to mitigate business continuity risks or restore services;
• Accountable for setting up, safeguarding integrity and maintaining integrated global application platforms for the domain;
• Chairs the Change Control Board for his/her domain.

The Ideal
Education level

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management or Business Administration or equivalent.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge and experience with
  • Modern development methodologies, such as Scrum, CI/CD, DevOps, etc (bonus: SAFe)
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps (or VSTS), Jira, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub
  • Reporting/Power BI (dashboarding)
  • Security and monitoring
  • Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), etc
  • ITIL/SIAM/ (service management, service delivery processes, and lifecycle management);
• General knowledge about the other IT domains (security/compliance, connectivity, enterprise applications, ERP systems, hosting/cloud, reporting, OT, R&D);

Required level of experiences

• 10-15 years of IT experience and at least 2 years as managing DevSecOps teams;
• Experience in working in high profile, business facing, IT management role, with a hands on approach towards establishing DevSecOps within IT;
• Experience in working in an international environment in a virtual context and a geographically spread team;
• Experience in working in a global IT function using well-defined processes and standards;
• Can act as project director/project owner for strategic projects.
