Role Summary: The role holder will be responsible for maximizing the Productivity, Delivery, Revenue & safety for Latex business by owning up complete Savli operations. He would be responsible to devise a comprehensive operations strategy for the Latex business in a highly competitive environment, Influencer behaviour for productivity & delivery to achieve profitability. The incumbent should be at comfort, in a start-up like environment and must demonstrate at work, a strong challenger mind-set with proven abilities to drive Cross-functional teams and influence critical stakeholders on key pillars of the strategy for Latex Business. At any given point, the Unit Head must be evaluating multiple new opportunities of growth and guide cross functional teams for growth and set priorities. Responsibilities:
Own factory overhead targets with safe operations for Latex business.
Identify activities / new opportunities to reduce cost of manufacturing.
Develop strategy for the identified growth opportunities to meet profitability goals.
Execute strategies by promoting & planning to enhance productivity & delivery
Training & Development of functional teams for enhanced performance.
Effectively managing of eco system at the Savli unit for good industrial relations
Ensure 100% statutory compliances
Maintain safety and health of employees & plant assets Educational Qualifications / Professional Experience
Qualifications
Chemical Engineer from a good institute
Experience -Relevant operations management experience of 20 – 25 Years in polymers / Chemical Industry
Preferred Industry/Companies- Latex plant/Polymers / Chemicals Key Skills & Competencies
