Eaton Corporation Hiring for Dy. Manager Mfg. Special Process at Ahmednagar, India Full Time

What you’ll do:

To achieve targeted output within quality norms & Trains to new members

a. Lead Special processes like Rapid Chrome plating, Nitriding, Heat treatment(Hardening, tempering, Ageing, Stress relieve, solution treatment), Induction hardening for the plant.

b. Meet and comply to all CQI requirements for special processes.

c. Validation and revalidation of special processes.

d. Ensure 100% utilization of assets with details Monthly, weekly, and daily planning of resources.

e. Drive productivity improvements by doing cycle time improvement, manpower optimization.

f. Drive cost outs to reduce cost/piece by optimum utilization of consumables. Drive projects to reduce consumable consumption.

g. Implement and sustain the system for management of spares(Maintenance and tooling) required to meet monthly production plan.

h. Drive Quality improvement projects by using A3 approach.

i. Build/develop contingency for equipment, people, and spares.

j. Work in collaboration with shift FLLs for flawless execution of production in all 3 shifts.

k. Build/develop data analytics to predict process, tooling failures and proactively take actions to prevent the failures.

l. Motivate the team by developing their skills and delegating them specific responsibilities.

m. Multi –skilling the team members.

Qualifications:

Six sigma , 5 ‘ s, Lean Manufacturing , Problem solving technique , Root cause analysis.

Education and Experience – DME WITH 8-9YRS EXPERIENCE IN PRODUCTION & QUALITY FIELD.

Skills:

The individual in this position must be able to pull in resources from all departments (ME, QA , PURCHASE ,STORES ) to effective solve problems in the plant quickly and effectively. The individual must take ownership for manufacturing and issues related to making a quality product in a timely and cost effective manner.
