This exciting role offers opportunity to:

• Project Management for new Items Sourcing

• Production: Raw materials and Components

• Vendor Development (QCD Performance improvements program)

• Vendor Selection & Auditing

• Getting Competitive quotes and T&C (lead-time)

• Part Qualification coordination

• Determination of prices – Negotiations

• Approved Commercials agreement (Including Service and Quality)

• Developing Alternative suppliers / Supply Continuity Assurance

• Support Quality & OTD issues resolution

• Material Cost Reductions with suppliers

• Engineering development activities which include product design and development,

• Development of facilities, processes, equipment’s or gauges

• Adherence to customer timing plan

• Develop new sources for the project execution.

• Price negotiation for new products jointly with SCM.

• Review the contract for all the Development Orders before giving Order acceptance.

• Risk analysis for the Development Order.

Qualifications

Requirement:

• BE/ME-Mechanical Engineering

• 10-12 Years of Experience in Sourcing/Vendor Development for Castings/ Forgings/Plastics/Ruubber components

• Working experience in an MNC/ Global Sourcing environment is preferred.
