Eaton Corporation Hiring for Specialist – EMEA Resourcing (Cost Out) at Hadapsar, India Full Time

What you’ll do:

• Define strategy for EMEA spend localization from BCC and execute programs in alignment with defined roadmap

• Identify the new cost out opportunities and align with the cross functional teams to initiate and finish the project with complete ownership of the costout by means of resourcing from BCC suppliers for EMEA business.

-Partner with EMEA engineering and Global sourcing to identify strategic supplier and EMEA spend sourcing strategy

-Propose candidate for BCC resourcing based on spend, testing risk, customer acceptance

• Work closely with global cross functional teams of supply chain, PLMs, Category managers and engineering team to meet EMEA business objectives and drive critical projects in alignment with business & suppliers.

• Influence and secure baseline business case expectations with key stakeholders in the areas of scope, benefit, cost, assumptions, risks/opportunities, key milestones and alternate implementation scenarios. Fully understand and articulate business case financials and content.

• Establish organizational resource management plans that clearly articulate the requirements for core team member, propose work package and co-ordinate with decision gate committee member engagement for the project duration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master (Electrical / Mechanical) or MBA – Supply Chain/Operation Management

Skills:

1. Total relevant work experience: 15+ years.

2. Strong engineering knowledge in India region working on NPI, cost out and close alignment with SCM team

3. Good business acumen to understand the spend data to generate the value and generate opportunities with collaboration with supply chain and engineering teams.

4. Hands-on experience with various electrical components development cycle.

5. Should have hands on experience and knowledge of applicable standards and environmental compliances – IEC / UL / ISO / RoHS / REACH etc.

6. Experience on product development lifecycle of LV switchgear and components, MV switchgear and components,

7. Preparation of technical compliance agreements with supplier or customers.

8. Should have ability to mentor people on complex technical and commercial issues.

9. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
