Eaton Corporation Hiring for Sr. Designer – Panels & Switchboard at Hadapsar, India Full Time

What you’ll do:

The Sr. Designer will be responsible for interpreting detailed non-standard switchboard product customer requirements and translating them into the final design package for the shop floor, ensuring smoother manufacturing of customized switchboards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Good understanding of panels and switchboards, including preparing general arrangement drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, component selection, calculations, and BOM for given customer requirements.

• Experience in IEC/UL/NEMA electrical standards.

• Manufacturing exposure to panels and switchboards.

• Sound knowledge of industry communication protocols such as RS485, Ethernet, INCOM, Profibus, Modbus, patch panels, Ethernet switches, gateways, and Dashboard Lite. Able to create automation configurations for these protocols.

• Ability to communicate technical information to customers and manufacturing.

• Supporting the team on DA electrical/mechanical projects – training, execution, etc

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering

• 0-2 years of experience in electrical design

Skills:

• Experience working with global partners is a plus

• Good understanding of panels and switchboards

• Peer relationships – Can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all; can represent his/her interests and yet be fair to other groups.

• Action-oriented – Enjoys working hard; is action-oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging.
