Acquisition Editor/Acquisition Specialist Division: Code Red Department: Content Team Key Responsibilities: • Carry out research to understand the depth, feasibility and the potential of the assigned topic. • Get familiar with the assigned topic to understand the customer requirement and find the right resource to offer the best solution. • Headhunt experienced professionals/trainers/experts on various technologies to author video courses. • Clearly explain the expected quality of work, gauge their experience on the topic and mutually negotiate terms of agreements with the experts to recruit them as authors • Evaluate the submissions by the authors resolving errors making it customer friendly. • Build a professional network and engage professionals to get the courses authored and reviewed, hence supporting the project pipeline. Primary Skills: • Thorough web researcher with the ability to find the right resources and contacts syncing it to the requirement. • Keen futurists to bring the latest advancement to the world by collaborating with enterprises and professionals to help them compete with the faced paced world • Deep customer insight to help drive technical discussions with the authors to provide best and unique solutions via video training courses. • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Effective time management and excellent interpersonal skills Qualification: • Graduate, Engineering, MBA or both would be preferred • Experience in Media/Publishing/eLearning industry would be added advantage
