Job Summary: Business Process & Controls Auditor:

Internal auditing is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve operations.

• Demonstrate understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, and related regulatory and compliance standards.

• Perform internal audit assurance activities, internal audits for operations, compliance, and strategic risk areas.

• Audit the processes setup in various business functions- Human Resources, Procurement, EHS, Corporate Services, Order Fulfillment, Customer Service etc

• Carrying out regular internal audits for ISO certifications

• Producing and submitting a full audit report on each audit undertaken

• Ensuring any non-conformity are listed on the appropriate non-conformity log and corrective actions are assigned to the appropriate party

• Conduct follow up audits / checks to monitor non-conformity and ensure other actions are completed

• Ensure operational excellence and deliver work on time and at optimal quality

• Use problem solving and critical thinking skills to quickly identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate their risk implications, and draw the appropriate conclusions

• Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and implement products and services

• Support internal engagements by helping create audit approach and scope, preparing the audit program, determining auditing procedures, seeing the audit process through completion, and applying internal audit standards.

• Actively participate in decision making with engagement management and seek to understand the broader impact of current decisions

• Create internal control documentation for the engagement including narratives, process and data flows.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience required:

• 5+ years of experience in internal audit or process compliance

• Experience in execution and documentation of Operations and Compliance audits

• High attention to detail.

• Extensive experience in quality management (formal quality qualifications).

• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt required (or equivalent), Quality Management or auditor training (ISO) /Certification.

• Working knowledge of ISO standards and procedures, internal controls, and other company requirements

• Problem solving skills that demonstrate critical thinking and – outside-the-box- approach to reach a solution.

• Experience working as part of a global, cross-functional team and working with all levels .
