Job Summary

Looking for a Server Admin (Linux/AWS) for the Noida location with Min (2-3 years) exp.

Job Responsibilities:
A cloud administrator’s responsibility is to install and set up Linux and Windows systems and server on AWS and Azure cloud.
Manage and Monitor production and development environments on AWS and Azure.
Work together with the application team to make the application more scalable, and highly available.
Ensuring high availability of all production applications hosted in AWS and on-premises.
Responsible for patching Linux and Windows servers in on-prem data centers and AWS platforms.
Maintain best practices on managing systems and services on AWS and Azure platforms.
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of various cloud services and web servers.
Implement and manage network security for all the web applications and maintain the standard operating procedures.
Implementation of Application, Network and Data level security
Identifying and implementing mitigations practices and controls ensuring adequate application and infrastructure security is always maintained.
Ensure all websites, backups, DNS Settings, Servers, Sites both live and planned are implemented and set up to run smoothly and fast. Implement technology such as CDN, Failover, work with management to organize IP addresses of sites in a SEO friendly manner.
Distribute sites across servers in response to demand.
Manage website migrations, URL Redirect management.
Liaise with hosting companies to trouble shoot issues, gain cost savings.
Report up-time and downtime to stake holders in order that advertising campaigns/production can be switched off in case or site faliure.
Target is to get all sites loading in Sub 100ms and achieve optimal up time 99.5%+.
Install software on sites, optimize, repair and maintain site databases. Fix php errors, file errors, any issues which affect network performance/access.
Supports operations with systems administration and maintenance, data backup and recovery, security administration, system repairs, and configuration changes.

Manages office email system.
Troubleshoot and resolve network/system issues.
Setup Windows Web Server (IIS, FTP, MSSQL Server), Linux (Apache, Mysql, PHP,Tomcat)

Required Skills:
Minimum 2 years of Web server administration experience – IIS, Apache, and Nginx.
Must have experience in AWS and Azure cloud administration.
Should have good experience in Shell / Perl scripting.
Must have extensive experience on Linux Operating System.
Must have excellent trouble shooting skills on Apache, IIS and Nginx dump and log analysis.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues with HTTP and HTTPS applications involving DNS, PHP, redirects CDNs etc.
Should have extensive knowledge on AWS – EC2, S3, RDS, Load Balancer, Cloud Front, etc.
Good networking knowledge in cloud environment.
Knowledge on Dev-Ops and other container systems are added advantage.
Installing, Backup, Restore, Authentication experience in various Database like MSSQL, MYSQL.
Installing SSL Certificate, DNS Records, SMTP Settings, Firewall.
Experience in various Web server Software Control Panels like Parallels Plesk, Cpanel, WHM, AWS Amazon (EC2, S3, Elastic IP, Route 53, SES, Snapshot, Security,).
Active Directory, Firewall, Wireless, Network Infrastructure, File Sharing, SMB, IPtables, Proxy, Squid, Squidguard, Lightsquid, VSFTP, Cron, Shell Scripting,
VMware, Development Environment Maintenance, Hardware, Various Operating system installation, Troubleshooting.

Area of Expertise:
Experience primarily in Linux/ Windows Server Administration.
Windows Server Administration capability and familiarity with Linux Servers – troubleshooting, resolving all Technical issues related to our software/ networks and the range of Products and Services.
Set up Monitoring, Configuration management, Administration & Operation practices.
Knowledge or some experience on managing Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Good to have Knowledge on VM Migration & Disaster Recovery.
Patch management, troubleshooting, scripting.
Understanding of all Hosting virtualization platforms.
Understanding of AWS products, Features and tools.
Participation and cooperation with other Cloud Services staff Virtualization & Storage.
Troubleshoot issues regarding capacity, uptime, escalated issues and quality.
Understanding of switch fabric that supports Virtualization as it relates to its attached storage.
Compile RCA (root cause analysis) reports on server incidents.
Advanced server administration.
Ready to work in 24 x 7 support.
Experience and/or certifications with AWS or Azure.

Experience: 2-3 Years

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹65,000.00 per month
