Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Architect you will be responsible for managing cloud environments. Create and execute cloud computing strategies by designing, developing and managing cloud infrastructure and assets to help businesses meet their goals .
As a cloud architect you will work closely with Devops Team members for strategic planning and work with developers to make sure the preliminary requirements of a build are met before continuing to design and integrate the project on cloud platform.
As a cloud architect you should possess deep knowledge of the organization cloud infrastructure and can therefore assist IT Security by monitoring cloud activity and addressing security issues.
Technical Skills –

• A minimum of 10+ years overall IT industry experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with managing teams, including progress monitoring and reporting.
• A minimum of 3+ years in a solution or technical architect role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms
• Advanced understanding of solution architecture.
• Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using (Azure) IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.
• Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Managed the end-to-end life cycles of a project in solution architect capacity
• Experience with mission critical technology components with DR capabilities
• Experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management
• Extensive experience in financial management, solution plan development and product cost estimation
• Ability to adopt and relate new technologies to the set of problems faced at Client while adhering to security and other Client standards
• Follow and nurture Site Reliability principles within the team.

• Consistently strive to acquire new skills on Cloud, DevOps, Big Data, AI and ML technologies
• Ensure stable and reliable application and associated services on multiple environments
• Create Container Orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), strive for full automated solutions, ensure the up-time and security of all cloud platform systems and infrastructure
• Experience supporting peer teams and their responsibilities; such as infrastructure, operations, engineering, info-security
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Puppet, Octopus, Chef, Salt, etc.
• Experience with Software development full lifecycle methodologies, patterns, frameworks, libraries and tools
• Must Have Strong Unix, Jenkins, Virtualization
• Experience with the core Azure services, Jenkins and Sonar
• Azure certification in Cloud and/or Security is preferred
• Hands-On experience in setting up DevOps pipelines for solutions involving containers and orchestration
• Candidate needs to demonstrate real-time experience in handling medium to large scale DevOps implementations in more than one projects
• Good background in Linux/Unix Windows administration.
• Architect enterprise grade IaaS PaaS solutions, with security by design on the public cloud platform.
• Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and configuration management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Packer, Chef etc.
• Sound knowledge of container cluster orchestration technologies such as DockerKubernetes
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager templates, PowerShell, JSON YAML
• Good understanding of network, databases, virtualization, containers, load balancing, DNS
• Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using Azure AD Roles, VNet, Azure Firewall, Azure NSG etc.).
• Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends
