Overview

Elevate is recruiting a System Administrator to join our Information Technology Team. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the server infrastructure,

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Specifically, you will

Ensure escalations of server and infra-related issues are addressed
Implement changes requests under the instructions of L3 engineering team
Work on special projects delegated by L3 engineering team
Mentor junior members of the IT team
Perform advanced troubleshooting on server and infrastructure issues
Work with L3 engineering team on evaluating and implementing new technologies
Maintain good working relationships with all service providers and vendors to ensure that services received meet expected requirements of contract
Ensure technical documentation is updated and new documents are created on standard processes
Perform regular server backups and weekend maintenance work
Support security investigations during security incidents

Experience

4+ years’ experience in network monitoring, system and/or network administration
MCSE, AWS, Azure, Linux and other certifications desirable but not required
Programming background (desirable)

Skills for Success

Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the server infrastructure
You are able to work with minimal supervision
You understand how system and network alerts work
You are willing to be trained and pass certification requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
