Role: Warehouse Manager

Job Location- Hinjewadi, Pune

Experience- 10 to 15 Years

Qualification- B. Pharm/ M.pharm/ MBA Operations

Responsibilities:

Raw Material (RM) and Packaging Material (PM) Management:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispensing of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM), ensuring timely availability for production needs.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the handling, storage, and dispensing of RM and PM, minimizing risks of contamination or degradation.
• Maintain and manage accurate records of materials, from receipt through usage, for inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Inventory Control:

• Lead and manage the entire inventory control process to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing overstock and stockouts, while supporting production requirements.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies, focusing on FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or LIFO (Last-In, First-Out) as appropriate for different material types.
• Track and monitor material consumption to ensure that production has the required raw and packaging materials without overstocking, thereby supporting the 100% production plan.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and physical stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Implement cycle counting procedures, ensuring material quantities and movements are correctly reflected in the system.

Production Support:

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure that materials are available as per the production schedule, preventing any delays in the production process.
• Monitor material requisitioning and usage to maintain production continuity while ensuring inventory levels are optimized.

Warehouse Operations and Compliance:

• Ensure smooth warehouse operations by maintaining an efficient layout and workflow for material receipt, storage, and dispensing.
• Oversee the implementation of safety and regulatory protocols for the warehouse and materials handling, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and standards.

Cost Control and Budget Management:

• Manage and control warehouse-related costs, including inventory carrying costs, labor costs, and supply chain expenses.
• Optimize the inventory turnover rate to reduce excess inventory and associated holding costs.

Team Leadership and Safety:

• Lead, train, and motivate the warehouse team to ensure high performance, efficiency, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for operational enhancements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure the warehouse operates with optimal safety standards, minimizing risks to employees and materials.
