Responsibilities:
Under minimal supervision of the Vice President of IT, the IT Business Intelligence (BI) Program Manager implements the IT application policy and procedures to drive the availability and use of BI information for the Isolation Valves Business Unit globally. This position is responsible for the oversight and advocacy with internal and external service providers for all BI related applications. The IT BI Program Manager is responsible for full life cycle of Business Unit specific enhancements, projects, and programs from project initiation to completion.
Responsibilities include:
Drive Business Intelligence initiatives globally, throughout the Business Unit, to deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) including summarized and detailed data to enable key analysis and informed business decisions
Engage with Business Leaders, Development Team, Program Team, users, and partners to understand processes, needs, product vision, roadmap, deliver solutions, enhancements, and resolution of issues
Work closely with stakeholders to assess value, develop cases, and prioritize epics, features, and stories create and maintain a program backlog according to defined business value and/or ROI targets
Work with Domain Architects (including Data, Infrastructure, Application, and Security architects) to ensure that solution architecture aligns with system design guidelines and enterprise architecture standards
Collaborate with their peers on the AutoSol Program BI and Data Teams, advocating and prioritizing the Business Unit’s requirements to continually mature the backlog with a focus on Business Value
Lead, coordinate projects related to making BI information available to all functions within the Business Unit; Participate in all phases of the project Requirements: Gathering and scope definition with non-technical Business Users
Develop dashboards, reports, and other mechanisms to deliver essential reports appropriate to the various business audiences
Work with the businesses to develop and deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and other business metrics
Develop tools to provide ad-hoc reporting capabilities
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Acts as a Change Agent in the Organisation who develops a culture that helps other members to react to changes quickly
Prepare and make presentations to users and management
Prepare budget inputs for expense and capital planning; manage assigned cost centers to fiscal directives
Maintain liaison with users to ensure adequate response to enhancement and support requirements
Provides project management leadership with all client businesses to validate client service requirements prior to mass rollout; ensure service levels post-rollout
Direct staff in the compliance with IT policy, standard procedures, documentation, security, etc.
May perform other duties as assigned
II. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
BA/BS degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related area
Must have minimum of 10 years in IT or a techno-functional role supporting reporting and business analytics
Experience with developing and deploying Business Intelligence Strategies
Experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse environments, Microsoft Power BI, SQL data structures and queries, or other data visualization tools
Management Experience is desired
Experience working with Oracle or SAP or other relational databases
Experience in a Manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
Ability to learn and understand additional areas of the business and learn new software and technologies
Strong leadership and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to maintain confidential information
Possess strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
Ability to plan and manage short- and long-term projects
Ability to work with people in varied organizational relationships
Ability to balance providing both strategic input/insight and tactical
Experience with using or maintaining Oracle, SAP, or other Enterprise Resource Planning systems is a plus
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

The IT BI Program Manager may manage a staff of direct reports who will primarily support Business Unit specific BI applications and will influence indirect reports in the Automation Solutions and Emerson teams to leverage common applications and processes.
