Title: VCP Analyst

Term of Employment: Full Time

Reports to: Oracle VCP Lead (Local)

Overall responsibility:

This position will be responsible for carrying out Performance improvements, configuration validations and trouble shooting of primarily ASCP, Demantra, GOP and Collaborative Planning modules for the Global Oracle planning Instance for Emerson Automation Solutions. This also includes monitoring of daily ASCP plan and Demantra executions, Identify and test application patches prior to promotion to production, Work with Oracle Technical Support on SR resolution.

Skills & Experience Required:

Implementation experience and understanding of the following Oracle Applications modules in Release 11i / R12:

Good understanding of ASCP and working knowledge of Inventory, OM, BOM, WIP and Purchasing

2-5 years’ experience with Oracle ERP, at least 1+ years’ experience with Oracle 11i or R12 E-Business Suite in a Global ASCP environment. Experience with Demantra and APCC a plus

Working knowledge of Oracle configurations / setups for 11i/R12 E-Business Suite: functional module setups, profile options, flex-fields, functional module interfaces.

Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate functional material to end users and management.

Define future business processes around Oracle VCP modules

Experience with gathering user requirements and understanding and interpreting requirements specifications

Experience with full Systems Development Life Cycle

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Self Motivated / Team player

Ability to work in a demanding user environment.

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Solid analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills.

Develop training material and application documentation as required.

Educate business users

Provide guidance in data preparation and migration

Identify and test application patches prior to promotion to production.

Proven history of successful problem solving with a sense of urgency

Work with Oracle Technical Support on SR resolution.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree

Ability to travel globally

Additional Comments:

This person need not have GOP, Demantra and Collaborative planning skills, but will be required to pick up these modules in due course of team and will be working closely with local Oracle APS lead.
