Role Overview:

• Working closely with devops engineers, product managers and scrum masters

• Determining requirements and providing estimates and timelines

• Reviewing code and mentoring team

• Identifying/alerting as to possible bottlenecks

• Building spikes and proof of concepts

• Building and maintaining highly scalable microservice-based platform using technologies such as .NET/React as we decide what parts of the application we want to transition.

• Build and maintain the backend for new features in an existing .Net/Javascript/React/Rails application.

• You will be tasked with completing key deliverables for intermediate milestones and deployments as described in the project timeline.

• Collaborate with other teams and departments as needed to iterate on the design and implementation of the application

• Point of contact for the team for any technical issues

Technical Skills Required:

• Full stack developer (.Net and React)

• Should be a senior in at least one of these languages and intermediate in the other at a minimum.

• Solid experience in implementation of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL

• Solid knowledge of OOP and software design patterns

• Solid experience in designing application architecture and database structure.

• Solid knowledge in writing unit tests and provide high-quality test coverage.

• Solid experience with SQL and relational database systems (e.g. MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQL)

• Solid experience in development and maintenance of deployment pipeline is a plus.

• Solid experience in a technical lead position

• Solid Experience with Agile practices

Good to Have:

• Experience of frontend stack (GraphQL / Flux / Redux / HTML / CSS) Canvas / ES6 is a huge plus.

• Knowledge of Java is a huge plus.

• Experience of Kafka is a big plus.

• Experience in AWS, Redis, Jenkins, Buildkite, Codefresh, Docker, Kubernetes is a huge plus.
