Role Summary

• Minimum 5 Years of DevOps, Configuration Management and/or Application Deployment automation experience
• Working with source control systems, designing, and troubleshooting build pipelines – using tools such as Git, Subversion, Jenkins, and VSTS.
• Experience in automation scripting using Shell Script, Groovy, PowerShell or Python.
• Experience supporting production workloads on Windows and Linux
• Experience working in fast-paced Agile development environment
• Highly effective oral and written communication, the ability to work in a team environment, accepting guidance and collaborating with others.
• Understanding of Configuration Management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Salt.
• Experience in designing infrastructure, supporting applications running on cloud environments like AWS, Azure etc.
• Experience with containers and orchestration such as Docker or Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Exposure to Log aggregation and visualization systems such as Splunk, etc.
• Knowledge of Networking
• Understanding of ITIL processes

Core Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) Pipeline components and jobs
• Collaborate and work closely with all engineering teams to build, maintain, and deploy applications/SaaS products to On-premise/Cloud infrastructure
• Develop and Maintain monitoring solutions and logging to track and alert on system health
• Engage with Development teams to promote DevOps adoption and advocate for DevOps driven design decisions
• Help with migration of legacy systems and architecture and setup Greenfield applications in the cloud
• Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks within application integration and deployment areas and assist in debugging/analysis and optimization
