POSITION SUMMARY (Key tasks and outcomes):
The Product Owner of Outbound Data Feeds takes the strategic vision of the Product Manager and turns that into tactical and deliverable stories/tasks for execution on that vision. The Product Owner will work closely with the Product Manager to understand the “what” and “why” and to balance that vision against the pressing demands of clients, partners, and the sales organization. The Product Owner will take the high-level vision and prepare the components into detailed requirements that the sprint team should find ready to pick up and develop towards.

Primary Tasks/Activities:

• Understand the Product Manager’s vision
• Draw out and complete development necessary documentation in preparation of the Sprint team picking up the story or task
• Responsible for User Story creation in Jira and incorporating user personas
• Test case development and perform User Acceptance Testing
• Influence the priority queue of all workable sprint items
• Work with sales and clients to translate contractual deliverables into workable development and support items
• Ability to document and clearly articulate complicated money movement requirements to development team
• Can develop strong relationship with key intermediaries

Education Levels/Credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in career

Excellent Experience to have

• Experience with Fed Wire, SWIFT, US ACH, RTP, ISO 20022, Cross Border payment, MTS, Dovetail, GPP, Nostro/Vostro treasury settlement process and CHIPS strongly preferred
• Ideally maintain a strong knowledge of all types of Fedwire and SWIFT messages including payments
• Interest in analyzing and documenting complex business processes and system flows
• Enjoys interacting directly with end users and clients
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Diligent and committed to excellence with superb attention to detail, ability to handle various tasks and sound organization of work
