As a part of the R&D department, you would be challenged with performing the Test Engineering activities that incorporate the most advanced components and technology in the industry. The successful candidate will build knowledge, experience and gain exposure to the test workflows of various systems. The individual should be self-motivated and enjoy a fast-paced environment that places a very high emphasis on Quality, Teamwork and Integrity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take initiative to learn the systems being tested and expand the testing done by the QA team.

• Keep the QA test suite up to date.

• Work with development and product specialists to determine how a specified feature of an application works.

• Apply test design or optimization techniques in determining the tests that need to be run in order to achieve quality deliverables.

• Report bugs found in an online ticketing system, to a high standard.

• Author test cases based on agreed standards, execute and report the results.

• Work with development team or other departments to increase test coverage across the suite of test cases.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall quality is achieved.

• Perform overall quality control of QA work (Peer reviews) by providing objective feedback.

• Work with team members based in the UK, India and Canada within a Hybrid work environment.

   

  Qualifications:

• Proven individual with a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Test/QA/Validation Engineer; with at least 2 years in the Audio/Professional Audio/Video/AV domain.

• Degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent

• ISTQB certified or equivalent.

   

  Skills:

• Knowledge of basic networking and ability to configure IP-based systems.

• Prior experience with Test Automation using any Scripting Language, preferably Python.

• Willingness to learn a huge system with hardware and software interaction.

• Prior experience working on Linux and Windows Operating Systems

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology

• Prior experience of executing various tests like Feature Testing, Regression Testing and Performance Testing.

• Must have used Test Design Techniques for creating Test cases.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

   

  Experience: 3 to 6 years

Office/Work Timings: 1pm to 9pm IST

Work Mode: Hybrid working
