What You’ll Be Doing:

Position summary

This role would require to have multiple skills required to suggest automation/process efficiency to special ops team which works as cross-functional, dedicated team charged with solving complex business or partner-specific challenges. This role would require to support the special ops team in offering expertise and data/reporting and tool based solutions based on the reported challenges and requirements. This role would require agility and technical expertise in terms of handling new and multiple requests in efficient way and provide effective solutions in shorter time frame with good quality. Someone who loves to get into healthcare domain or has healthcare knowledge is ideal for this position.

Essential functions

The Experience You Will Need (Required)

Must have a bachelor’s degree preferably with a quantitative major (e.g. actuarial, statistics, operations research, engineering, mathematics, economics) or healthcare (health administration, epidemiology, public health, biology)

1-3 years of professional experience including recent work with Python, SQL, Excel, VBA, or graduate school level experience in the same focus areas laid out above

Must have experience with Python programming, (Django, Flask, or other Python frameworks), Microsoft Excel (advanced) and VBA programming language.

Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications using python.

Write usable, testable, and efficient code for performance tuning, improvement, automation.

Roles and Responsibilities

-Able to build tools/automate process using python as per the requirement.

-Independent thinker with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with varying timelines

-Able to identify the root cause and suggest approach and solution based on tool knowledge expertise

-Willingness to develop and explore new approaches, adapt, and execute quickly and be comfortable with ambiguous project outlines

-Collaborative working style with the ability to work across different organizations and personalities

-Exceptionally strong analytical abilities, with track record of identifying insights from quantitative and qualitative data

-Excellent communication skills, demonstrates professionalism and excels at distilling complex data into digestible messages for the client

Skill Set Requirements-

Mandatory skill set

– SQL and Python

• Strong Technical skills, especially, Excel , Power query, Ms Access , VBA

• Prior US – Healthcare Experience preferably on claims data

• Manage and Execute Projects

• Critical thinking, Good Communication and Team Player

• Willing to work US overlapping hours

Good to have skill set

-SAS/ SSIS

-ETL, Systems knowledge

-Experience in Code optimization

-MS Access, VBA Programming,

-Python Programming

Mandatory Requirements:

Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.
