What You’ll Be Doing:
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Evolent Health is looking for a Workday Analyst to be based in our Pune office. The Workday Analyst will be a critical team member reporting to the Associate Director, Workday. They would be responsible for supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the Workday Financials and HR system. They will partner with business stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues and pursue opportunities for increased efficiency.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who loves diving into a breadth of Workday configuration (reporting, business processes, security, implementation of new features and third-party system integrations) and is interested in working across multiple Workday modules with functional users. This position would also provide exposure to HR and Finance business operations and an opportunity to rub shoulders with leaders within the organization.
This role calls for excellent problem-solving abilities, ability to visualize business scenarios and a strong understanding of HR and Finance business functions. The role would require strong written and verbal English communication skills. The role would also involve overlapping hours in the EST time zone.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support maintenance of Workday HCM and/or Financials configuration, including setup and functional configuration.
Gather requirements for, create, and maintain data and configuration changes required to accommodate rapid organizational and business process requirements
Work closely with the business teams in USA and India to understand system pain points, determine root causes, and develop solutions to address short and long-term issues
Implement solutions through successful design, development, testing, and deployment with required documentation
Manage support tickets ensuring thorough, timely work and compliance with documentation procedures in ticket tracking system
Leverage business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements
Design and develop custom reports as required for business users
Configure and administer security in compliance with policies and procedures
Support Workday Release activities
Act with speed, while balancing quality and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree
3 – 8 years for total experience, experience of Workday HCM or Financials support experience preferred
4+ years experience with a Finance ERP system support role (Oracle, PeopleSoft)
Understanding of HR and/or Finance processes, procedures and best practices
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Proven communication skills, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good judgment, mature and positive attitude
Ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential information
Attend to detail with accuracy
Mandatory Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
