Roles Objective:
As a Manager-Manufacturing Services, the incumbent:
Reviews and Coordinates with Projects & Plants for Tracking of Project status & Capex funding, schedules.
Improves Manufacturing Systems by applying continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability & cost optimisation

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Plants on preventing waste and maximizing efficiency in production processes.
.
Stay updated with knowledge of industrial engineering procedures, associate with various projects of manufacturing and production, keep track of all productivity, and ensure that all procedures are carried out by following the required standards.
Drive Projects on manpower optimization & Smart Factory concepts.
Key Internal Interfaces:
Plants: for Capacity Enhancements, Smart Factory Concepts based on I 4.0 , Lean concepts.
Commercial Services: for Data Analysis
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education
Engineering Graduate (Mechanical)
Experience
5-8 years in Manufacturing function
Desired Competencies:
Technical:
Knowledge of continuous process improvement methodologies such as 5S, Lean manufacturing, Statistical Process Control and DMAIC
Drive to initiate and sustain Manufacturing excellence practices to streamline production operations using Lean techniques.
Strong orientation and track record of Value Stream Mapping.
Knowledge and experience of Time and motion study – Preferred
Self motivated to lead independent projects as well as projects with cross functional teams
