Level: Senior

We’re looking for senior Android Developer. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting external client facing web and mobile applications in an open and collaborative environment. If you are an exceptional individual who is interested in working at the frontier of digital finance, this is the place for you.
Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain custom Cordova plugins, including hooks
• Perform annual maintenance on the codebase and automated build scripts to keep pace with changes to Android
• Maintain certificates and signing, including certificate pinning, app signing / upload, and push notifications
• Monitor production feedback, crash reports, and analytics—and address issues
• Work with infrastructure teams to address proxy, software and administrative privilege issues that impact Android development or build processes
• Train web application developers how to build and debug a hybrid app

Experience

• Java and Kotlin
• Deep knowledge of Android programming concepts, including but not limited to:

o Threading, Crash Analysis, Back-stack, and Inter-Process Communication

• JavaScript programming using Node, and Hybrid App debugging via Chrome
• Cordova command line tools
• The latest Android Studio, SDKs, Google Play Console Features, and Android OS

Skills, Knowledge, and Experiences:

• Broad Android SDK experience, including but not limited to:

o Android, hardware, biometrics, web kit, Android.

• Git submodules
• NPM package publishing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have Skills

• Experience developing APIs.
• Strong user experience skills.
