Job purpose

The People Advisory Services (PAS) mobility business is focused on helping clients manage the complex compliance, reporting and risks inherent in deploying a globally mobile workforce. EY provides services to a wide range of multinational companies globally.

As a core member within the GDS PAS PMO team, the candidate will work closely with Project Leaders and Engagement Leads across the organization to design and implement solutions to improve and accelerate the delivery of projects and transformation initiatives.

In the role of Account PMO lead on an engagement they will need to enable overall account management and delivery working in conjunction with client, vendors, global, onshore and GDS account leadership team.

Your Key Responsibilities

As Project Manager or PMO on strategic and operational initiative,

• Leads the smooth delivery of the project/program outcomes
• Contributes as an effective team member and takes accountability for deliverables
• Creates value independently- bringing strong project and change management skills and past client experiences
• Deploys consulting best practice knowledge and techniques when undertaking work
• Performs rapid assessment of current landscape for clients and is able to provide insights around hypotheses and solutions
• Develops and manages knowledge for use across projects
• Support development of collateral, tools, techniques, methodologies to enhance transformation programs and broader capability offering within the practice

Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications – Internal

As an Account PMO Lead

• Understand the overall scope and services applicable per the SOW and work with the various stakeholders in leveraging the Managed services Delivery model which fits from a people, process and technology perspective.
• Responsible for creating various knowledge articles, process documents and ensure that various teams are trained on the respective account and engagements for smooth delivery of the Managed services
• Work with various stakeholders on mapping the KPI/ SLA’s and ensuring that they are met and reported out to respective stakeholders as per agreed timelines
• Responsible for identifying the correct resource mix (onshore, offshore) to manage the client deliverables
• Manage EY’s risk management protocols and engagement requirements to adhere to our Firm’s data protection and all related QRM requirements to mitigate any claims against the Firm
• Work with various teams to proactively identify and resolve issues including escalation management as part of ongoing service delivery
• Collaborate on transition plans, including roadmap, work plan, budget, timeframe, responsibilities and accountabilities
• Managing continuous improvement initiatives and projects on the account in the BAU mode
• Support the smooth delivery through status, issues & risk tracking, change control monitoring and reporting to account stakeholders
• Have a commercial mindset to ensure delivery in accordance with the agreed contractual scope and financial budgets and proactive identification of potential scope drifts /out of scope
• Create long term value by providing exceptional client service

• Excellent written, oral and presentation communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with set up and management of PMOs
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members
• Technology project exposure desirable.
• Working knowledge of project management tools and applications desirable
• Organization design, Change management and/or Mid scale business transformation exposure desirable.
• PMP or other relevant certification will be an added advantage.
