We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify App Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify App Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Shopify apps to enhance the functionality and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement scalable solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Laravel, PHP, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of Shopify’s platform and APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom Shopify apps that align with business requirements and enhance the functionality.
• Design and implement scalable, robust, and efficient code using Laravel, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend Shopify’s capabilities and enhance user experience.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Optimize app performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, APIs, and best practices, and proactively suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with designers, UX/UI experts, and front-end developers to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, readability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures related to app development and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience developing Shopify apps with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficiency in Laravel, PHP, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of their ecosystems and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of Shopify’s platform, APIs, and app development guidelines.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and services into Shopify apps.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Shopify App Developer certification or relevant certifications.
• Experience with other e-commerce platforms and their APIs (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento).
• Experience with server administration and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and wireframing tools.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
