KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Order Management:

On time placement and Pre production order closures.

Closure of final cost post product selection and before MRH as per GP target. PH allocation along with PD team based on capacity, expertise and past performance. Order placement as per buying budget & agreed timelines.

Spec creation. DP PO creation within 1 month of order placement. Releasing excel POs. Sending tech packs to PHs

Product Performance Review Monthly review of sell thru Match production to original sample Archiving all Best Seller Samples Maintaining Range Room sample Regular Store visits & competition visits to identify new market trends Regular follow ups with adopted Stores to identify & fulfil the Gaps

Vendor Management:

Regular PH/Local Vendor visit to monitor production.

Development of new vendors for product escalation Training of existing producers.

Ensuring regular business to committed vendors

Documentation

Maintaining Buy and performance summary of all suppliers- Vendor report card Range book maintenance

Delivery Management

Coordination for fabric deliveries with PH & fabric team. T & A management

Maintaining Weekly status review and escalation of any delays/rejections/shortfall

Monthly alignment of buys as per OTB

Real time update of Distribution Tracker

All pre-production approvals within 24 working hours

Vendor sourcing & management:

Regular PH/Local Vendor visit to monitor production Development of new vendors for product escalation

Training of existing producers. Ensuring regular business to committed vendors

JOB SPECIFICATION: (QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE)

Years of Functional Experience: 5 – 8 years of work experience in Merchandising, Sampling, Product development

Degree/Diploma: BF. tech / MF. tech / BE Textiles / BSc Home Science
