Job Description

Our client is seeking to hire a Junior software tester who can design, code, test, and provide industry-leading solutions for an excellent IT firm. Whether you are working on projects internally or for a client, software development is critical to the success of an organization. You will use the latest software development tools, techniques and approaches and work with leading minds in the industry to build solutions you can be proud of.
Tasks

• You will be required to come up with test scenarios for components under test, automate the same and run test execution suites for regression testing.
• You will have to test customer patches, set up environments for testing and maintain the same. You will need to update test reports in tools and update leadership on progress in a timely manner.
• You will be required to collaborate with architects, leads, developers, support teams across locations.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Working knowledge of hardware / software virtualization technology with direct Experience on VMWare VCenter a plus
• Basic knowledge of compute, networking and Storage
• Scripting skills (Python and shell Scripting) for Test automation creation
• Experience with Functional / System Test creation and execution
• Familiar with Test planning and tracking
• Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work as part of a group and as well as independently
