Job Description:
Contribute to proper and effective administrative, financial, tax and asset management, in compliance with existing fiscal and civil regulations, as well as with specific company policies and accounting principles.
Statutory Compliances:
-
Calculation & payment of monthly/quarterly GST, TDS, Advance tax dues.
-
Responsible for filing of monthly/quarterly GST(10 locations) & TDS returns.
-
Carrying out Tax audit & annual filing of Income tax return in coordination with Tax consultant.
-
Carrying out GST audit/annual returns in coordination of GST consultant.
-
Preparation of documents for Income tax & GST assessments
-
GST Reconciliation (Books vs GST Portal) and follow up with vendors for necessary rectification on portal
-
Ensuring to avail and utilization of GST credits on monthly returns according to allowability criteria as per rules
-
Coordination with the vendors for timely collection of forms
-
Various Statutory payments (PF,PT,CD etc)
-
Annual Income Tax Return filing (incl. 3CEB, master file etc)
-
Handling of queries related to taxation from employees/vendors
-
Issuance of Form 15CA/CB for foreign payments
-
Responsible for latest changes in ERP basis new developments
-
Preparation for E-ways bills for non- sales events like transfer of fixed assets, material moverment from CSO(R&D) etc
-
Preparation of documents required for carrying out Statutory audit.

Overall direct and indirect tax compliance.
Bookkeeping:
-
Maintaining Fixed Asset register, creating then asset card with outsourcing partner.

Monitoring quarterly tax provisions and deferred tax working, creation of FD, BG, etc for tender purpose
Insurance:
-
Assessing business risks for mitigation through insurance cover.

Evaluation of various insurance options and recommendations.
-
Ensuring documentation related to policies and coordination for claims settlements, if any.
Preferred degree or vocational education – Inter CA/ICWA, BCom
Experience of 3-4 years a must, in tax function
Understanding of international operations.
