FICCI Looking For Research Associate / Assistant Director / Senior Assistant Director : International Affairs – Europe Region at New Delhi, Delhi, Full Time

We are looking for:

• Post Graduate Degree in International Business / Economics / MBA / MBE with 1 to 12 years of relevant experience

Principal Accountabilities:

• Keeping a track of developments in the international and multilateral domains, especially focusing at India and Europe.
• Monitor and analyse national and international trade policies, agreements, and regulations in the European region.
• Conduct research and gather data on trade-related topics, including tariff and non-tariff, export/import regulations, and trade barriers.
• Analyse the impact of trade policies on domestic industries, market access, and international competitiveness.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations on trade policy developments and their implications.
• Provide insights and recommendations to policymakers and stakeholders on trade policy issues.
• Organise and participate in consultations, negotiations, and discussions related to trade policy matters.
• Assist in the development and formulation of trade policy strategies, frameworks, and initiatives.
• Drafting all work-related communications such as: Emails, concept notes, background paper, presentations, event agenda, post-event reports, executive committee briefs, Social media posts etc.
• Organising conferences, roundtables, webinars, investor meets, exhibitions, B2B meetings etc.
• Relationship building with existing and potential stakeholders: Government, Industry members, Indian and foreign missions, international partners etc.; to foster collaborative opportunities.
• Inbound and outbound Delegation mobilisation.
• Preparation of talking points.
• Maintaining and regularly updating database of relevant stakeholders.
• Raise funding / sponsorships as per work requirements in the department.
• Supporting the team leader in the above and other work which may be initiated towards meeting the goals set for the department and FICCI.

• Capable of coordinating business meetings / delegations.
