FICCI Looking For Senior Assistant Director / Deputy Director – Water Mission at New Delhi, Delhi, Full Time

We are looking for :

• Postgraduate degree in Water Resources Management, Environmental Management, or MBA with specialization in Sustainability/Water Management.
• Minimum 5-12 years of experience in the water sector, with expertise in water reuse, recycling, and recovery initiatives.
• Understanding of national and international developments in water management and policies.

We are for seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead and manage activities under the Water Mission (Committee) focusing on reuse, recycling, and recovery of water, corporate water stewardship, urban wastewater management, and improving water efficiency in industry and agriculture. The role involves collaboration with industry stakeholders, government bodies, and committee members to drive policy initiatives and organize events, awards aimed at advancing water sustainability in India excluding drinking water and sanitation.

Principal Accountabilities:

Research (Primary and Secondary):

• Collect and analyze primary and secondary data on water management practices.
• Develop comprehensive reports, knowledge products, and representations for policy advocacy.
• Conduct case studies and impact assessments related to water reuse, recycling, and efficiency.

Policy Advocacy:

• Prepare policy briefs and recommendations based on research and stakeholder feedback.
• Engage with government agencies and industry leaders to present policy recommendations and drive advocacy efforts.
• Facilitate regular interactions with committee members and other key stakeholders.

Organizing Conferences and Outreach Programs:

• Plan and execute conferences, workshops, Awards and other outreach programs on water management and sustainability.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of events.
• Promote knowledge sharing and awareness on water stewardship and efficiency across industries.

Competencies:

Technical (Knowledge, Skills, Attitude)

• Water Sector Experience: Proven experience in water reuse, recycling, recovery, and corporate water stewardship.
• Policy Advocacy: Ability to draft policy briefs, reports, and recommendations for government and industry stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Strong relationship-building skills, with experience in conducting consultations and organizing industry meetings.
• Report and Presentation Writing: Experience in preparing high-quality reports, presentations, and speeches for senior leadership.
• Research Skills: Strong research orientation with expertise in data collection, analysis, and report development.
• Event Organization: Proficiency in organizing conferences, workshops, and outreach programs.
