Job description

A Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Factory store (Engineering, /Material) store.

Person should be organized and detail – oriented to manage operations in our Factory/Units related to engineering stores. In this position, he will play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory in Physical and in ERP.

He has to coordinate with the team and various stake holder and should make sure the operations operates smoothly in all the shifts/Units with respect to spares availability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing, End to End operation of Engineering stores operations of the Unit/Units and ensure compliance of policies and procedures at all units.
• Responsible for Maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals of the items as per procedure in ERP and physical,
• Perform other stock – related duties, including returning, packing coordinating with suppliers and sending spares samples via courier/road transport.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting/management for reimbursements and record keeping
• Always ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control .
• Ensure proper cycle count, Perpetual Stock Verification Carry out to base on ABC classification for all type material like Electrical, Mechanical, Project Spares components, Consumables, Tools

consumables, maintenance spares and hazardous materials etc. * Responsible for receipt & issuance of material in the shifts.

• Quantity verification and Quality inspection
• Moving the acceptable materials to the bin locations
• Ensuring Spares management best practices are met.
• Training colleagues/Team member in the system on spares management
• Maintaining 5S in stores.
• Preparing monthly MIS report
• Finalize the Indents, Send Indents to Purchase department and coordinate with the concerned stake holder
• Ensure Quality check of the material received with concerned stakeholders.
• Maintain Stock levels of the inventory in ERP/Excel and order as per reorder level and production plan.
• Circulation of reports internally and to the management on day to day basis
• Should be able to lead team, supervisors.
• Good at taking monthly stock reconciliation and coordination with finance/accounts for the complete process.
• Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with receipts or Issue Vouchers.
• Also having experience in MRP (Material requirement planning) to generate material requirement and placing of intend.Requirements and skills

• Diploma in Mechanical/electrical with 5 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, preferably in handling engineering stores (Electrical/Mechanical/Projects) in FMCG /Food industry.
• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong in MIS reporting, Documentation and Reporting.
• Factory Store Management experience must
• Well versed with Stores Operations/Management as per SOP Guidelines
• Good Knowledge of ERP/MS office and presentation skills

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹15,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
