FireEye, Inc. Hiring for Senior Research Scientist at Bangalore, India Full Time

FireEye is seeking a (Senior) Staff Research Scientist to act as a research leader to fully leverage Fireeye & third-party product data under a single umbrella (Helix) to deliver new detection and product capabilities. In this role you will apply your expertise in threat research and analytics to guide the team in delivering a high impact solution to the cyber security challenges. You will work with a global team of cross functional researchers in a dynamic environment where innovation is applauded, and you will have the opportunity to influence the vision and direction of the product.  Responsibilities:  * Contribute towards innovative ways to detect attacks using machine learning, behavioral and predictive analytics. * Provide technical leadership to a team of security researchers. * Interface with product managers, senior management and end users to drive requirements  * Stay abreast of engineering best practices, technology trends, tools and frameworks  * Work collaboratively with the peer research teams, including those in remote sites/offices  * Forward Looking Research – Researcher will have the opportunity to develop leading edge prototypes to solve emerging challenges. * Threat Analytics – Leveraging threat intelligence from different sources, identify patterns to co-relate and establish the origin and flow of attacks. * Overall 5+ years of industry experience * Specialist in programming primarily Python or Golang. * Experience working with log-based data and SIEM tools * Background in two or more of the information security disciplines such as * Incident response * Threat analysis & monitoring * Security analytics * Digital forensics * Demonstrated hands-on experience in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. * Knowledge of TTPs used by malicious actors. * Excellent written & verbal communication skills  * Experience designing and developing machine learning models is a definite plus.
