Job Description:

1. Regional Sourcing: – Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturers for kids’ footwear within the designated region. Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.

2. Product Development: Collaborate with design teams to develop new and innovative kids’ footwear products that align with market trends and customer preferences. Ensure that product designs meet safety, comfort, and durability standards, especially for children.

3. Product Measurement: Implement and oversee a robust product measurement and quality control process. Conduct regular inspections and measurements to ensure products meet quality and sizing standards.

4. Sales Return Measures/Checks: Monitor and analyze sales returns for kids’ footwear. Investigate the reasons behind returns and implement measures to reduce return rates.

5. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the product development and sourcing teams. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and materials in the kids’ footwear industry.

6. Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management practices.

7. Cost Management: Work closely with suppliers to optimize production costs while maintaining product quality. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to maximize profitability.

8. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on supplier performance, product quality, sales returns, and inventory levels. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, taking corrective actions as necessary.

9. Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all products meet safety and regulatory standards, especially those related to children’s products. Promote ethical and sustainable practices within the supply chain.
