Job Description

· Assistant Product Manager will work closely with firstcry.com team, QA team, Product team, Design team & Technology team.

· Assist the Sr. PM to develop a product strategy & roadmaps and drive product development.

· Document detailed requirements for the design & technology teams

· Ability to create rough UI wireframes to explain your view of the product flow

· Detailing out new product features – from conceptualizing, to developing the business case to detailing out the detailed functionality

· Building interactions and experience as reference points as well as feedback from customers and clients

· Resolve user pain points by improving functionality and driving resolution of product issues by ensuring weekly platform testing sessions.

· Reviewing data on a weekly basis (traffic, search etc) and identifying areas for improvement

· Stay abreast of what international competition is doing as also products with potential synergies.

Desired Skills & Expertise

· MBA (preferred) with consistently good academic record

· Prior experience in dealing with Business to Consumer (B2C) is a plus.

· Working knowledge of web & mobile technology is a plus.

· Excellent interpersonal skills as this position requires a team player and a self-starter with experience in working with cross-functional teams like engineering, design, and project management counterparts to deliver online products/services and leading detailed oriented projects to achieve business and technical goals.

· Product management or marketing background would be a plus, a strong track record in web & mobile products in a high growth environment, and a proven ability to deliver great user experiences.

· Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

· Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to speak to technical and non-technical audiences.

· Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
