Reporting to the FC, we have a position for ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Administrator, to join our India head office in Hebbal, Bangalore.

Understand user groups requirements and resolve user issues to facilitate improved running and utilisation of end user ICT equipment and support system development.
The ICT team works hands-on with a great variety of users and platforms. You will have impressive customer service and communication skills to interact face to face and online with people across the business.
Key outcomes
Liaise with users to clarify complex end user ICT issues in a timely manner to enable correct diagnosis of issues and provide responsive service to customers.
Determine root cause of issues and resolve problems with ICT systems through replacing or reconfiguring hardware and software.
Develop and maintain relationships with management and end users of assigned customer groups to develop understanding of business needs and facilitate planning and budgeting.
Contribute to the ICT team capacity plan and annual plan by recommending necessary upgrades and replacements.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure localised issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Escalate problems relating to ICT services, ensuring all relevant information is communicated, to facilitate resolution in a timely
manner.
Maintain and resolve end user network and telephone connectivity by configuring communications equipment.
Provide guidance to Desktop Support members and assist with problem identification and resolution.
Maintain the ICT help desk knowledge base ensuring any new solutions are captured to facilitate the effective team performance.
Develop and maintain relationship with the management team of assigned customer groups to facilitate planning and budgeting.
Provide training and support to end users to ensure appropriate selection, set up and use of ICT equipment.
Assess new desktop hardware and software to determine utility, impact on the system, safety, and best means of roll out.
Participate in a diverse range of projects to support other ICT areas and increase the effectiveness of ICT Services
Impact
Contributes to customer satisfaction by answering customer questions and resolving tier 2 ICT problems.
Contributes to the early identification of significant ICT issues.
Develop in depth knowledge of customer group to facilitate effectiveness of ICT services.
Understands the balance between cost, performance and the impact on the assigned customer base.
About the Person
BE Computers / software, IT or similar
A 7 to 10 years of practical experience in an ICT management role in a global workplace.
Strong service delivery and service support knowledge and the ability to implement change in these areas.
Excellent working knowledge of IT systems, Microsoft Server and Cloud technologies, security networks and system administration, databases, data storage systems and phone systems.
Clear understanding of impact of ICT on the business and the interdependencies of ICT systems
Customer service focused
