Reports Solid line to respective Manager Procurement

Manages Purchasing based on specifications and according to predefined procedures and processes to ensure delivery capability

Purchases products/Items of expertise area at right quality, characteristics and volume

Participates in the selection of suppliers by analysis and evaluation and handles operational relations and interfaces with selected suppliers in order to build and maintain close relationships with suppliers

Negotiates terms and conditions independently with in the given framework.

May prepare cost estimations based on analysis of pricing trends as a basis for price setting

Key Responsibility:
1. Sending RFQ based on Engineering Requisition raised from India Projects for Electrical and Automation Products

2. Negotiate and Finalize the orders as per Project metrics – Cost & Timelines

3. Development of New suppliers for Electrical & Automation category as the need may arise.

4. Supplier Relationship Management for India Based suppliers globally for continuous improvement of SIFOT, quality of the product being supplied.

5. Work with cross function for cost optimization through alternate specification, material, Indigenization etc.

6. Handling Post order site issues for quick resolution.

Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Experience in ordering of Electrical, Instrument and Automation Products required for Cement & Mining Process Industry.

2. Experience in Procurement and working with organizations like Metso, Thyssenkrupp handled Electrical purchase or working with organization like ABB, Siemens, L&T is preferred.

3. Female Candidate is Preferred.

Qualifications :
B.E / B.Tech – Electrical Engineering

Years of Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Key Skills Required: Good Communication & Negotiation Skill, Willing to take up challenges
