Key Responsibilities :
- Perform Design of BIW / Interior Exterior Plastics / Chassis / Powertrain or EESE commodities in Catia V5 inline with Engineering requirements and Ford Design Standards
- Meet Ford GPDS timelines and quality standards for CAD design deliverables
- Should have good knowledge in Digital Pre-assembly process and BOM
- Perform Dynamic and static clearance checks
- Ensure CAD / BOM alignment
- Should be able to implement Design actions based on analysis using CAE / CFD / outdoor & indoor tests.
- Should have knowledge about new technology and future trends in automotive vehicles.
- Develop designs according to Sheet metal / Plastics /Powertrain design specifications & manufacturing processes.
- Manage CAD design Lifecyle in PML tool (Teamcenter,)
- Demonstrate High level of analytical ability and problem solving.
- Awareness of engineering operations, processes, and best practices.
- Actively participate in efficiency and innovation initiatives.
- Ability to Perform Engineering Design with minimal supervision
- Contribute to Design reviews
