Ford Motor Company Hiring for Homologation & Compliance Engineer at India Full Time

• Interface with Lead Engineering Program Teams (Marketing, Product Development, Planning, Manufacturing, etc.) on regulatory / homologation requirements;

• Deliver appropriate guidance on regulatory, and quasi-regulatory requirements for world markets;

• Provide regulatory knowledge transfer and improve awareness amongst product engineers;

• Prepare and cascade applicable Regulatory requirements, Safety Design Guidelines, and Public Domain Guidelines for forward model programs in support of major program gateways;

• Support Product Development teams to ensure robust, consistent compliance documentation and help resolve regulatory and non-regulatory design related issues;

• Develop future certification programs with design responsible engineers;

• Collect and consolidate engineering data into final government applications and submit to authorities, partners or external agencies

• Analyse business activities and identify opportunities to modernise and improve efficiency (e.g. write automation scripts to extract, transform and load technical engineering and homologation data)

• Co-ordinate and execute Domestic & Export market homologation tests at Government agencies & internal labs – Emission tests, brakes, engine testing & safety critical tests etc.

• Coordinate with engineering for all new programs / OPD / new regulations compliance planning.

• Lead for coordinating and reporting program homologation status

• Consolidate & Submit certification documents

• Engineering degree

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience;

• Familiarity with automotive regulations and homologation process;

• Broad understanding of vehicle systems, components and their interactions;
