Fortis Hiring For Production Supervisor at Pune, Maharashtra Full Time
A Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing a part of the production process under the supervision of the production manager. The production supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing operations run smoothly. He/she will be responsible for ensuring productivity and quality parameters are met by monitoring and organizing workflows. Self-motivated and he/she should be able to comprehend complex operations and optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. Key responsibilities will include:
Set daily/weekly/monthly production and quality targets and communicate them to employees
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
Ensure high uptime of machines and equipment and schedule regular maintenance
Check production output according to specifications
Submit reports on performance and progress
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest process improvements
Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
Enforce strict safety guidelines as per company standards
Qualification and Experience
Engineering degree/diploma(Mechanical).
At least 5 year’s experience in supervisory role in a manufacturing industry, preferably in the wire/cable industry
