Job Description

We are looking for a talented and passionate front-end developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly pages for our platform. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js libraries. They must be comfortable working in an agile environment and have the ability to “take the wheel” when necessary.

What you’ll do

• Develop new user-facing features using React JS and other modern web technologies.
• Build reusable components and libraries for future use.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcome.

Must have 

• Strong object-oriented and functional development skills in React JS (1+ years)
• Exposure to modern basic front-end stack (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery etc.)
• Track record of building highly scalable and resilient web applications
• Good analytical and problem-solving aptitude
• Experience working with Agile teams and have an understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
• Experience in source code control with git/svn

Good to have

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
• Track record of building highly scalable and resilient web applications
• Fundamental understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, TDD (test-driven development), CI (continuous integration), etc.
• Exposure to a distributed, asynchronous, microservices architecture
• Good understanding of data structures & algorithms and application design principles (like SOLID)

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer science or related fields from a reputed institution
• Experience: 1-3 years 
• Location: Chennai. Work from the office (Mon to Fri)
