Site Overview

Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India’s defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem

Roles And Responsibilities

• Individuals located at Pune MMF manufacturing site, that provide day-to-day EHS support for that facility.
• Ensure adherence to local, state and central EHS regulations (Factories Act, MPCB,CPCB, PESO etc)
• Drive the EPR compliance for the site by working with various stakeholders
• Assist in implementation of waste management, water management, air emission monitoring program for the site as per regulatory requirements
• Managing the day today operations of the ETP and STP operations of the site
• Support sustainability initiatives as per the corporate and government guidelines
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and risk assessments
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Support implementation of HIRA and Aspect Impact assessment for the site
• Monitor PPE Compliance, contractor safety, safe work practices on the shop floor
• Conduct EHS trainings for new employees, contractors and existing employees
• Support the building a positive safety culture among employees and contractors
• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.

Ideal Candidate

Passionate EHS Professional with experience of ensuring compliance of EPR and Environment Regulations in Manufacturing Industry

Required Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MTech in Environment Engg
• Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ISO45001,14001,50001 standards
• Strong knowledge of EPR ,Environment Regulations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
