Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and platform solutions for GE Healthcare applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security

• Collaborate with application development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, leveraging automation and best practices to improve development and deployment processes

• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal performance and reliability

• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions, ensuring consistency and repeatability across environments

• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements

• Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance our cloud capabilities and drive innovation

• Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for mission-critical applications

• Leverage emerging AI solutions to accelerate code and solution development

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering, with a focus on AWS and/or Azure

• Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates)

• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Travis, CircleCI) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Go, PowerShell)

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Grafana)

• Strong understanding of network and security fundamentals, including VPNs, firewalls, and encryption technologies

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a strong attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

• Experience with ITIL and/or Agile methodologies, including project management tools(e.g., Jira, Rally)

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)

• Demonstrated passion and innovation in applying technology solutions in an enterprise

• A strong passion to leverage generative AI in all aspects of cloud and platform engineering
