In this role you will be responsible for maximizing WEB tech stack delivery speed and service reliability in On-prem and Multi-Cloud (AWS/Azure) hosting platforms. This role features a combination of general WEB administration, site reliability engineering, and primarily implementing and leading effective DevOps strategies. Your command of the various components of the DevOps toolchain such as continuous integration, source code management (Git), provisioning, configuration, and serverless automation will be a key to this role.

Job Description
Responsibilities:

In this role you will

• Substantial working knowledge of core programming languages like Python,Ruby, Ansible, Bashfor serverless microservices based automation.
• Substantial experience in IaC automation, CI CD Pipeline implementation using Jenkins.
• Substantial experience with Containerized build, development, deployment and monitoring preferably with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient with building and deploying Rest APIs and developing an API economy.
• Strong experience with configuration orchestration tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet, and key management services like Vault, KMS, and HSM.
• Good understanding of WEB technologies such as JBoss,Web Logic, Tomcat, Apache, IIS.
• AWS/Azure Certification in Cloud DevOps Engineer path.

Qualifications/Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience

Essential Requirements

• Build towards the goal of fully automated WEB/Middle-tier Infrastructure as a code.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security stakeholders across the organization.
• Design, implement, and document comprehensive IaC. This includes adding to a framework of scripts, libraries, tools, and configuration templates; tracking and attributing progress with Jira and git; and following Dev/Test/Prod for your code.
• Systematic diagnosing, debugging, and problem solving. Quickly learn new technologies and adopt new tools, new services, new libraries, and new language features.
• Document resource creation and stages of CI/CD, for our Full Stack engineers to independently manage these. Document infrastructure for internal use and for compliance audits.
• Understanding of core infrastructure concepts like load balancing, REST, and caching, Familiarity with the following concepts: Internet protocols, SSL termination, auto-scaling, CDN, DNS, OSI layers, threads.
• Familiarity with core security concepts, like L4 and L7 firewalls, VPN/IPSec, encryption at rest and in flight, password and certificate management, and system hardening.
• Experience with monitoring tools, such as New Relic, Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, and visualization tools, like the ELK stack, AWS CloudTrail.
• Designs, develops, documents and implements complex data architectures under the guidance of the senior members of the team.
• Builds deployment automation with configuration as code to provision data cloud services/infrastructure.
• Stays abreast of emerging DevOps and Data technologies/tools.
• Works in an Agile environment, collaborates with Operations, Development, and QA functions to develop solutions and systems that are predisposed to scalability, security and simplified maintenance.
