In this role you will be responsible for technical delivery (design, implementation & quality) of an application roadmap and features. You will be the bridge between the architecture team and the development scrum team – working closely with the architect to detail out and design system level requirements for application features and ensuring that the scrum team delivers with quality. You will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business as needed for the scope of the application roadmap. You will also be responsible to lead design discussion and mentor other junior team members.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

In this role you will

• Demonstrate ability to understand requirements/design from appropriate stakeholders and leading a small Scrum Team in driving the proposed design implementations.
• Demonstrate ability to quickly pick up new technology and domain to start delivering.
• Demonstrate clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
• Good knowledge in Application Security & Cryptography.
• Good problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
• Excellent at design thinking and ability to break down high level design to further component design.
• Good knowledge of Java Enterprise, AWS Cloud Design and Development, Microservices design, development and containerization (Docker), Performance and Reliability design and development (AWS certification is a plus)
• Good experience of front-end UI frameworks – Angular 8, HTML5, CSS.
• Good experience of relational databases like Oracle;ability to write medium to complex queries.
• Good experience of ORM frameworks like Hibernate& Spring data.
• Goodexperienceof Spring and Spring Boot frameworks for developing applications and REST APIs
• Goodexperienceof caching frameworks like Redis.
• Goodexperienceof queue managers/ message brokers like RabbitMQ
• Excellent knowledge of debugging tools to address performance and reliability bottlenecks
• Good knowledge in unit testing using JUnit and mock frameworks.
• Good understanding of SSH/Telnet/FTP/HTTP protocols.
• Experience in Agile development practices: Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Good knowledge and experience inContinuousImprovement/ContinuousDevelopment process, Jenkins integration
• Good knowledge and experience in version control tools like GITLab, SVN
• Good knowledge and experience to work in different OS (Linux & Windows)

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
11+ Years of strong experience in software development in Enterprise Application Development

Desired Skills

• Knowledge on C++ is a plus
• Experience on OAuth2 and different security protocols.
• Knowledge on Mobile application development (Android & IOS) and maintenance is a plus.
