You will also own and manage the program delivery to envision, develop and execute strategy partnering with CIO track teams to drive execution across multiple interdependent projects within a program; ensure outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality and define execution standards and processes

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Establish and maintain as a trusted advisor relationship within GE Healthcare Data & Analytics team

• Define execution methodologies and project management practices to be followed by all projects within the program

• Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in specifying requirements

• Primary focus of Big Data technology would be on Teradata, AWS tech stack, Informatica and several visualization tools around Spotfire, Tableau, OBIEE, BOXI etc

• Perform initial and final financial reviews and ensure ongoing budget tracking

• Support in filling compliance gaps i.e. SRC, GxP, SOX, etc

• Align personal priorities to the business priorities, eg driving Teradata simplification for focused domain

• Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources

• Cooperate with and manage external vendors as required

• Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary

• Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required

• Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project

• Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 8+ years of experience

• 5+ years working experience in managing program delivery in Big Data, Data Management, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics or related areas

• Functional experience with some/any of the following functions such as Finance, Treasury, Sourcing, Services operations, field service, commercial, marketing, and product management

• Demonstrable experience partnering with business managers to develop and deliver planned programs in data analytics domain

• Demonstrable skill of delivering analytics in modern data architecture (Massively Parallel Processing Database Platforms and Semantic Modelling)

• Demonstrable knowledge of ETL and ELT patterns and when to use either one

• 4+ years experience of Viz Tools (ie OAS, Power BI, DOMO, Spotfire, Tableau etc)

• Understands data quality and solves for application-level needs; DaaS, Data management tools / solutions

• GB/BB/Lean- Able to use tools (analytics, Six Sigma, Lean) and techniques to drive change

• Strong verbal & written communication

• Experience working with solutions delivery teams using Agile/Scrum ore similar methodologies

• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Multi-Tier Architecture

Desired skills:

• Proactively learning new technology, predicts trends, and identifies new opportunities based on trends

• Identifies the customer’s business and strategic needs, concerns, and desires for the value delivery capabilities of the Product

• Preferably having functional understanding of Finance, Services, Supply Chain domain

• Ability to interact with Business stakeholders and solve business problems spanning across functions; Leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals

• Influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization

• Self-starter – requires minimal direction to accomplish goals

• A track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities

• Team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources

• Experience working with others on a global basis; Applies knowledge to coach and mentor others

• Analytical and problem solving skills – communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans

• Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
