Summary

You will operate in lock-step with technical product management teams, program teams and business organization to create a clear direction for CAD and Visualization related needs for business and support CORELLA – Renewable PLM Next Generation Implementation and convey that vision to the development scrum team. You will work with the global team and ensure a clear and descriptive set of requirements captured as stories and partner with the team to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt. Your priority will include seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Service Owners and Developers. You will work with a team of Technical Product Managers and be able to effectively collaborate, communicate and take direction from the entire team.

Staff TPM Role leading CAD and Visualization areas as part of CORELLA – ARAS PLM Implementation will support Renewable Energy’s Onshore, Offshore an Hydro businesses to move from current Product Lifecycle Management platform (Enovia). CORELLA will help Deliver business value & differentiation through scalable & secure enterprise platforms and products enabling a true digital thread across product / process life cycle.

Roles and Responsibilities In this role, you will:

• Work with cross-functional teams from CORELLA (ARAS) Program Teams to lead and deliver features for CAD and Visualization process areas used across Onshore, Offshore and Hydro business
• Support other Renewables Engineering DT initiatives impacting Renewable Energy Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform that is used across the Tier1 business.
• Understand process & requirements in detail so as to be able to make the right decisions, challenge the teams, understanding dependencies etc
• Partner with functional process owners to drive Risk Management for individual workstreams, working the mitigation plan, closure and presenting this during weekly meetings
• Pro-actively Identifying dependencies and highlighting it in a timely manner
• Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
• Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
• Engage with Architects, development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification for any blockers in execution
• Own and manage the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
• Collaborate with UX in design decisions, demonstrating deep understanding of technology stack and impact on final product
• Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas
• Partner with the Service Owner to ensure healthy development process
• Be regarded as an expert in Agile Methodology; translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning
• Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering team
• Demonstrates excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in Technical Product Manage and/or Business Analysis
• GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed
• Experience in supporting/leading CAD/PDM (i.e NX) related projects integrated with key PLM platforms (i.e ARAS)

Desired Characteristics:

• Strong knowledge of CAD Software (i.e. UG NX), UGNX Manager and PLM platform (i.e ARAS Innovator, Windchill)
• Working knowledge of CAD to PLM Integration; PLM to BOM integration
• Experience working in Agile Methodology, Certified Scrum Product Owner certification
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, QA Processes (testing, Defect Management, etc..)
• Must be willing to travel (10%)
