Gems Precision Castings Pvt. Ltd. is a Castings Manufacturing Foundry which started its production from the year 2006, located on Chennai – Bangalore Highway and is about 50 Kms away from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

It produces SG iron for a variety of automobile applications. The foundry is built on a 1.4 acres land with 20,000 sq. feet built up area.

Our Vision is to achieve a target of 200 tonnes of good castings every month before the end of the year 2021, with our dedicated team of 125 employees, we are confident that we can fulfill our vision. Our Objective is to achieve this mission.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experience in a foundry REQUIRED.

Role: Engineer – NPD
Industry : Manufacturing / Automotive / Foundry
Location : Sriperumbdur/Kanchipuram.
Requirement : BE/Diploma
Experience : 2 – 6 Years
Salary : Negotiable (15000 to 25000 based on Experience)

Job Scope:
1. Knowledge and experience in CAD , CAM, 3D Modelling, simulation procedures to obtain NSD results
2. Adept knowledge in Die design with runner, raiser, and gating procedures,
3. vendor identification & selection for die development
4. knowledge in obtaining better yield, knowledge on maintaining resin sand ratios of liquid metal and good castings
5. cost estimations for die development, mould proving, casting development, casting approval from customer
6. knowledge on PPAP and ISIR documents, and handing over to production for bulk production.

Salary: ₹15,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
