Reporting to the Site Manager, this role acts as an advisor to the customer/installer during receiving and installation of major components, ensuring the work is performed in accordance with GE Renewables established procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities
As the Installation Technical Advisor, you will:
Assist and advise the Installation contractor and /or Customer to ensure mechanical and electrical installation as well as final Inspections are performed in accordance with the Installation and Quality processes & guidelines.
Be responsible for all assigned installation activities and special tooling on site, overseeing maintenance of assigned tools and vehicle in a responsible manner
Track and control installation times
Execute assigned Retrofits per the Red Flag Review process.
Adhere to and/or implement Safety Procedures/protocols issued to the site. Responsible for reporting issues that affect safety and schedule via the latest online GE communication tool for corrective action
Provide information for Daily Site Report. Ensure contents of Job Site Books are complete and 100% accurate.
Participate in LOTO process as required/directed
Be innovative and engaged in all areas of facility operations aligned with the site plan to include creative problem solving with Lean and digitization tools to drive optimum process discipline
While assigned to a project, represent GE in a responsible manner with integrity and by exercising good judgment, both during work hours and off work hours. Manage time and assigned resources responsibly to ensure successful completion of the site goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications
Professional qualification in mechanics and/or electrical technology with proven work experience, and/or equivalent professional experience in the Wind business with relevant training
Demonstrated, relevant technical experience working at construction sites
Advocate for health, safety and environmental matters; detailed knowledge about EHS & Safety regulations
Desired Characteristics
Awareness of and experience in Quality processes and ability to instill quality mindset in site team
Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst continuing to follow safety/quality guidelines
Analytic skills regarding technical tasks and processes
Proven fluent English knowledge, both verbally and written
Trained to Global Wind Organization (GWO) standard.
Medical capability for working at heights according to international and/or local standards (e.g. G41 / G35)
Valid Driving License
Capable of working at remote sites in adverse weather conditions (heat, humidity, cold, wind, altitude)
Willingness to travel (inland/abroad) & very high flexibility, 90% national / international travel required
