Genesys is looking for a highly driven Atlassian Administrator to support the IT Go-to-Customer team. This unique position requires deep Atlassian administration for Jira and Confluence plus the ability to assist with the administration of various testing and other documentation tools. As a Atlassian Administrator, you will partner with business stakeholders to analyze current needs and challenges with respect to the DevOps process.
What this role isn’t:
This role also isn’t about gathering requirements from the business and handing them off to developers. You will be expected to identify solutions that can be built using out-of-the-box solutions from Jira, Confluence, and other DevOps tools.
What you’ll bring to the table: You will be applying your excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify and execute process improvement recommendations. You should be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.
Some details about what you’ll do:
Maintain Atlassian Jira and Confluence roadmaps, workflows, configurations, and integrations
Work with Scrum Masters to optimize the tools for maximum efficiency and productivity
Maintain Testing tools configuration and integrations, such as Test Rails and Tricentis Testing for Salesforce
Work with our Product Teams to document technical specifications within Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams
Perform daily user support across multiple applications and analyze and communicate impacts for upgrades.
Provide coaching and training to end users
Establish and implement change management around system maintenance and configuration
Engage with other technical stakeholders (operations, enterprise architecture, etc.) as necessary to manage technical requirements; facilitate estimation of costs and effort of work items
Ensure the team standards and technical considerations are accounted for in team rituals
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and supporting DevOp tools in an agile environment
Extensive hands-on experience with creating implementing and maintaining Atlassian Jira workflows, issue types, roadmaps, and agile boards
Hands-on experience with managing Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Teams with respect to documentation
Understanding of testing and administering various testing tools within the DevOps process
Strong knowledge of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban, or other agile development techniques
Flexible attitude and demonstrated ability to grow skills and work across recent technologies
