The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mainframe applications.ResponsibilitiesUtilize Mainframe test automation tools to automate test processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with the development team to understand application requirements and design effective test scenarios.Perform end to end testing of mainframe applications, including batch processing, using JCL and DB2.Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.Conduct performance testing to validate the application’s performance under different workloads.Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.Work closely with cross functional teams to deliver reliable and robust mainframe solutions.Stay up to date with the latest mainframe testing tools and best practices.Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mainframe applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverageQualificationsMinimum qualifications we seek in you!Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in Mainframe test automation experience with JCL, DB2, Financial Domain experience.Previous experience working in the financial domain is highly desirable.Familiarity with batch processing and data management in mainframe environments.Preferred qualificationsBanking / Capital Markets domain experience.Good Communication and leadership skills.Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications) are a plus.Genpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
