Job Summary

The Own Brands – Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for partnering with functional and technical teams for planning, coordinating, and implementation of projects within the decided upon budget, timeline, and scope. This will be a dynamic, fast-paced position within a growing segment of the Giant Eagle, Inc. and will focus on the acceleration plans of Own Brands

Job Description

• Experience Required: 1 to 3 years; strong business acumen in project planning and project management
• Experience Desired: Product packaging and/or product branding
• Education Desired: Bachelors Degree

Job Responsibilities

• Set project timelines and monitor project deliverables from planning through execution; update key stakeholders and/or team members on project progress
• Responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously within the constraint of scope, quality, time, and cost to deliver specified project requirements and meet our guest satisfaction criteria
• Support day-to-day activities within the specified business area
• Assist the team in swift problem resolution and escalate problematic issues as they arise
• Recognize and call attention to any risks that threaten your team’s ability to deliver on projected launch dates.
• Effectively work with external vendors and internal cross functional teams to keep open communication and progress reporting toward specified goals
• Conduct competitive research and report findings on specified projects
• Support coordination and execution of brand initiatives
